mi3 Diagnostic Application
mi3 is an iPhone diagnostic application designed to provide insights into BMW electric vehicles. It serves as a valuable tool for pre-purchase inspections and routine car maintenance. The app offers real-time monitoring of various data sources not typically accessible through onboard systems. Users can track the State of Charge (SoC) and State of Health (SoH) of the EV high voltage battery, view charging details in kilowatts with accompanying charts, and access additional information like cells temperature, voltages, forecasted range, and REX usage details if available.
mi3 supports multiple OBD adapters via Bluetooth, WiFi, and ENET connections, allowing seamless integration with different BMW models including BMW i3/s, Mini Cooper SE, and upcoming models. Additionally, the application can share data with A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) for enhanced route planning capabilities. To utilize mi3, users must have an OBD adapter connected to their vehicle.
